What makes Primekin different
Our creatures are artificial life. No two are biologically the same, they have true individuality and memory — and you don't just choose them when you capture them. You have to earn their bond and their trust.
A walking game and a small isometric base, joined by one rule: real steps are the only source of Energy. No timers. No streaks to lose. Nothing to buy your way past.
A day in Journey
Three promises
The shop says the third one on its own last card. We mean it as a design rule, not a marketing line.
The chore that can't be automated
A Primekin with a thought bubble has one thing on its mind. You type. It answers in character — its species, its traits, how fed and watered it is, how long it has lived with you — and judges for itself whether you addressed the thing it was actually worried about. Flattery that dodges the subject does not settle it. A wrong answer is never punished. You are simply asked again.
Food and water can be automated with troughs and feeders. Spirit cannot — the only way a Primekin becomes Devoted is that somebody turned up.
Steps, water and meals are read from Apple Health or Health Connect on your device, opt-in, and never sold. Leaderboards show streak length and Vigor brewed — never the numbers behind them.
A free isometric MMORPG. Nine roads out of Veilhaven, five classes with fifteen paths, levels 1 to 200, and a storm with intent. Your base is yours alone; the sky is everyone's.
The world

Five classes · fifteen paths
Choose a class at level 10. The second job is the real split — three paths that play nothing alike. The fourth is the storm-infused final form, and its strongest arts are rare drops, never purchases.

If you want the detail
None of this is needed to play. It is here because people ask.

Your health data stays on your phone unless you turn on cloud backup, which keeps a private copy of your game in your own account. Either way, it is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with anyone else.
Primekin Journey is a walking game. You can play all of it without an account, and then the only thing that ever leaves your phone is a food search. An account is optional. It adds cloud backup and friends, and you can delete it from inside the app whenever you like.
Only if you allow it, and read only. The app never writes anything to Apple Health and does not ask to.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Active energy burned | So effort that isn’t walking, like a bike ride or a swim, still powers your base. |
| Resting heart rate | Shown to you in your Journal, beside your movement. |
| Sleep | Fills in last night’s Rest in your Journal, which counts toward the day’s bonus. You can always change the number. |
You can say no to all of it. The game is fully playable with every health permission off: you can enter your day by hand, and nothing is withheld or made harder.
On your phone, in the app’s own storage, and it is left out of your iPhone’s iCloud backup. Unless you turn on cloud backup (below), it is never sent to us, and deleting the app deletes it. Cloud backup is how a game survives a lost phone.
Food lookups, with or without an account, and only when you search for a food or scan a barcode. The game looks in its own built-in list of foods first. When that doesn’t find enough, or when you scan a barcode, your phone asks two public food databases directly:
These requests carry no name, no account, no device identifier and no health data. We never see them, because your phone talks to those services itself. Their own policies apply: FoodData Central · Open Food Facts.
Your account, friends and backup, only if you make an account. That is the next section.
Whenever your phone talks to a service on the internet, that service can see the internet (IP) address your phone is using. We don’t use it to track you. Opening your music app before a walk just opens it; nothing is passed to it.
Accounts are optional, and only cloud backup and friends need one. They are run on Supabase, and everything travels over an encrypted connection. It is stored in the United States, in Supabase’s Oregon region. Supabase only stores and handles this for us, to run the app. It may not use any of it for anything of its own, and it has to protect it at least as well as this policy does. Apple and Google handle their own sign-in under their own policies.
| What | What we keep |
|---|---|
| Email and password | Your email address. The password is kept only in a scrambled form that nobody can read back. |
| Sign in with Apple | The email Apple gives us. That is a private relay address if you choose Hide My Email. |
| Sign in with Google | Your email, plus the name and profile picture Google shares when you sign in. The game doesn’t use those two. |
| Any account | When it was made and when you last signed in. |
| Your neighborhood | Only if you create one: the neighborhood name you choose, your friend code, and your friend requests, friends and blocks. |
| Cloud backup | Only if you turn it on: a private copy of your whole game. See below. |
Nobody can search for you. The only way to find you is a friend code you share. Your neighborhood name is shown to your friends and to anyone you send a request to or get one from. Block someone and they stop seeing it.
We keep all of this until you delete it or delete your account.
Off until you tap Enable cloud backup. It is a copy of your whole game, so you can get it back on a new phone. That includes your health numbers: your steps, active calories, sleep hours and latest resting heart rate, with up to 400 days of daily totals. It also holds what you have typed in (meals, water, weight, height, age, sex, activity level and goals), your name and profile photo, your Primekin and your base.
Coming later: visits, deliveries and a look at your base for your friends. None of these is switched on yet. They are built to share game things only, never your health numbers or your whole save, and this page will say exactly what they share before they arrive.
Health and fitness data, meaning everything from Apple Health and your step count, is used for one thing: running the game for you. We never use it for advertising, marketing or data mining. We never sell it and never share it with anyone else. The only copy that ever leaves your phone is your own cloud backup, if you turn it on, which Supabase stores only on our behalf, under the same protections, and which only your account can open. This is a commitment, not only a description of this version.
There is no advertising in the app, no analytics or crash-reporting tool that reports on you, and no tracking across other apps or websites. We don’t sell your data or share it for anyone else’s use, and we don’t build a profile of you.
In the app: Profile › Your account › Delete my account. It asks you twice, and if you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm it’s you. As soon as our server confirms, these are deleted for good:
You disappear from your friends’ lists too. If you used Sign in with Apple, we also ask Apple to disconnect Primekin from your Apple Account. If that can’t be done, the app tells you, and you can remove it yourself in your iPhone’s Settings, under Sign in with Apple.
For safety, Supabase keeps a daily backup of our database for 7 days, and its server logs (which include the internet address a request came from) for 7 days. So a deleted account can linger in those short-lived copies for up to a week before it rolls out of them too. Nobody uses them except to recover from an accident.
What stays is the game on your phone. Your Primekin, your base and all your progress keep going, offline. To remove those too, delete the app.
If you are offline or something goes wrong, nothing is deleted and the app tells you so. Signing out is not deleting: the account and its backups stay until you delete them. If you can’t get into the app, for example after losing your phone, email us from the address on the account and we’ll delete it for you.
Laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you the right to see, correct, export and delete the personal data a company holds about you. Most of that you can do yourself: your game is on your phone, cloud backup can be paused or restored in the app, and your account can be deleted in the app. For anything else, like a copy of what your account holds or a change to your neighborhood name, email us. We don’t sell personal data, and we never will.
Primekin Journey is not directed at children under 13, and accounts are not for children under 13, or under the minimum age for this where you live. We don’t knowingly collect anything from a child. If you think a child has made an account, email us and we’ll delete it.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change ever means more data leaves your phone, it will be said plainly here first, and the app will ask you before it happens.
Primekin Journey · Privacy Policy · 23 September 2026
Season 3 · 41 days left
A cosmetic season. Forty tiers, every piece earnable by playing, and a premium track for those who want the cloak faster. Nothing here changes a stat, hatches an egg, or brews a drop of Energy.
Prisms buy cosmetics, base decor and convenience — never Energy, never stats, never eggs, never Storm Arts. If anything here ever makes an Alpha easier, we have broken our own rule and you should say so loudly.
